Rafael Nadal participated in a charity tennis exhibition in Melbourne after the Australian Open on Wednesday 14 January. Over 7,500 fans enjoyed the show in which, with a new tennis format called Fast4, Spanish player Fernando Verdasco, former Australian professional tennis player Mark Philippoussis, and the winner of the US Open Junior Championships, Omar Jasika, also took part.

All funds raised through this successful event, which was animated by a live DJ, will go to the Australian tournament’s foundation and to the Rafa Nadal Foundation, which in turn will invest it in the new School for Social Development project, recently launched by the organisation in Mallorca.
