Nadal & Olazábal unite for a charity golf tournament

For another year, Rafael Nadal and golfer José María Olazábal joined forces to take part in the charity golf tournament, the Olazabal&Nadal Invitational by Pula Golf Resort. The event, which was held on 24th and 25th November in Son Servera, Mallorca, celebrated its fifth edition and once again brought together amateur and professional golfers from around the world with a common goal: raising funds for some of society’s most disadvantaged groups.

For a third consecutive year, and after two days of competition, the team captained by Rafael Nadal was crowned as champions of the unique Pro Am tournament.

The funds raised during the sporting event – which also saw Michelin Star chefs contribute their culinary creations – are destined for the Rafa Nadal Foundation’s ‘More than Tennis’ project, assisting young tennis players with intellectual disabilities, and the Sport Mundi Foundation, to support the work done by ACNUR with refugees.
