During the school year now starting, more than 800 children will take part in the port and education projects run by the Rafa Nadal Foundation in Spain and India.
The organisation’s main project is carried out at the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre in Palma de Mallorca, and is attended by around 200 children. The Anantapur Education Centre also sees participation from around 210 boys and girls. At the same time, 191 youngsters participate in the More than Tennis project, while 185 children benefit from the Integration & Sport project, which is carried out in Barcelona, Granada and Zaragoza.
In this new school year, 21 youngsters will combine high-level sport with studies in the United States thanks to Study & Play. Finally, a new project aimed at providing sports scholarships to young tennis talents will soon be launched.
Since its creation in 2008, the Rafa Nadal Foundation has been growing continuously, each year attending to more children and expanding its programs, always maintaining sport and education as the fundamental pillars.
