Renewal of the alliance with the Dutch Postcode Lottery

The Rafa Nadal Foundation and the Dutch Postcode Lottery (Nationale Postcode Loterij) are announcing the renewal of their collaboration agreement for 2019, which will be extended for three more years, until 2021. Since the beginnings of the Foundation, the Dutch company has been one of the most important partners of the organization, with an annual contribution of 500,000 euros, which the tennis player’s Foundation allocates to fund the sport and education projects for children and youngsters in Spain and India.

This year, Rafael Nadal ―international ambassador for the Dutch Postcode Lottery― participated in the annual gala celebrated in Amsterdam, where the lottery hands over around 357 million euros to more than a hundred charity organizations, among which is Rafa Nadal Foundation. “I am impressed by the strong social commitment coming from the Postcode Lottery. I am very grateful for their big support to my foundation as well as to other organizations and social actions all over the world”, the tennis player declared.

Likewise, the director of Strategy and Institutional Relationships at the Rafa Nadal Foundation, Maria Francisca Perelló, explains: “The support from the Postcode Lottey is essential to carry out our work. For us, this alliance is important not only at the economic level, but also for the fact that we consider the Postcode Lottey as a mentor that has contributed significantly to the evolution and consolidation of the Rafa Nadal Foundation”.
