Solidarity Award at the DEX Award Gala 2018

The Rafa Nadal Foundation received the Solidarity Award at the second edition of DEX Awards by El Desmarque. Claudia Basi, the Foundation’s director, attended the award ceremony, which was held on the 14th of January in Seville.

“To get recognition like this one is what motivates us, even more, to keep working with enthusiasm so all the children can have the same opportunities to give their best”, Blasi declares. She also stated that “We strongly believe in the transformative power of sport, and that is why the practice of sport is the axis around which the work of the Rafa Nadal Foundation rotates”.

At the end of the ceremony, there was a charity roulette to raise funds for the work of the Rafa Nadal Foundation.

Some of the other awarded persons were Saúl Craviotto, Sandra Sánchez, Regino Hernández, India Martínez, Anatoli Karpov, Jesús Navas and Joaquín, Josué Brachi, Patry Jordán, the Spain Women U 17 National Football Team, Spain Men National Basketball Team, José Manuel Ruiz, Yuyu, José Ramón de la Morena, Pedro García Aguado…

All of them were awarded, together with the Rafa Nadal Foundation, in a ceremony where values such as solidarity, history, careers, good example, excellence, equality and integration, among others, were praised and acclaimed.
