The Rafa Nadal Foundation joins Heliocare: medical science and technology for skin protection

The pharmaceutical company Cantabria Labs has signed an agreement with Rafael Nadal, in which the tennis player offers his support to raise awareness about the importance of a good photoprotection and a healthy sun exposure. This collaboration reaches the Rafa Nadal Foundation and the junior tennis tour Rafa Nadal Tour by Mapfre, as well as the Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, sports center of worldwide reference.

“I know I might be late regarding the sun damage my skin may have got, since I couldn’t have the appropriate habits of protection against sun damage, but I believe it is never too late to do things in a better way” —Rafa Nadal commented during the signing of the agreement.

“Having the support from Rafa Nadal as an ambassador is a great opportunity for Cantabria Labs. We want people to reflect, as Rafael does, about the importance of the harmful effects of the sun, and about how helpful dermatologists and pharmacists are to inform and give advice about skin care and 360º photoprotection oral and external products” —explained Juan Matji, president of the pharmaceutical lab.

The upcoming initiatives regarding this collaboration will be revealed in the course of the next months. These actions will have the aim to prevent serious skin problems and to fulfill the lab’s purpose of caring for people’s life with entrepreneurship, science and proximity as their hallmarks.
