The Rafa Nadal Foundation awarded with the Golden FAAM

Coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Almeria Federation of People with Disabilities Associations (FAAM) presented the Golden FAAM awards. In this 18th edition, the Rafa Nadal Foundation was recognized, among other entities, companies and individuals, within the Sports Category.

Specifically, FAAM awarded the project More than Tennis, which this 2020 is celebrating 10 years promoting the inclusion of young people with intellectual disability through the practice of tennis.

Several authorities and award-winners were present at the event, which was held online due to the pandemic situation. Some of them were: Golden FAAM of Health to Pedro Cavadas Foundation, FAAM of Social Care to the Almeria associative network of disability and Golden FAAM of Culture to Albert Espinosa. José Ruiz, deputy director of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, was the representative in charge of receiving the award on behalf of the organization.
