The High Commissioner for the Fight against Child Poverty visits the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma de Mallorca
This Wednesday, June 9 at 6:00 p.m. we received a visit from the High Commissioner for the Fight against Child Poverty at the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma de Mallorca.
Ernesto Gasco Gonzalo, the High Commissioner, María Pilar Baselga, technical advisor and Raquel Cernuda, head of communication, could see the Center during the activities that we organize every afternoon with the children.
The ‘Zero Child Poverty Country Alliance’ was created with the aim of guaranteeing an inclusive quality education and promote healthy, positive and safe environments.
From the Rafa Nadal Foundation, we join this initiative and our forces with the aim of promoting quality education, enhancing talent, breaking the digital divide, guaranteeing balanced physical, psychological and social health, promoting a safe and protective environment, and encourage participation with equity. In short, we work to break the cycle of child poverty.
In our projects we use sports and education as tools for the development of minors and we act in four specific areas of work that are in accordance with four important Sustainable Development Goals.
Good Health and Well-being, Quality Education, Reduced Inequalities and Partnerships to achieve the Goals.
