The Rafa Nadal Foundation Center is visited by the Culture and Welfare Area of the Palma de Mallorca city Council
Antoni Noguera, Deputy Mayor for Culture and Social Welfare, and Catalina Trobat, General Coordinator of Social Welfare for Palma City Council, paid a courtesy visit to the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center located in the Nou Llevant – La Soledat neighbourhood.
They have been received by Eunate Gómez, Project Manager of the Rafa Nadal Foundation and Íñigo Martínez de San Vicente, director of the Center.
Currently, the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma de Mallorca attends to around 250 minors between the ages of 5 and 17 each year. The project has been present in the district since 2014 and the impact on the neighborhood is increasing.
The main objective of this visit has been to strengthen the support of the city’s institutions for the foundation’s project and to carry out a small follow-up of the networking system with the different agents of change in the area.
The Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma de Mallorca receives referrals of cases of families in vulnerable situations who need a comprehensive support resource. For this reason, the team is in constant contact with the Social Services area dependent on the City Council.
