THE RAFA NADAL FOUNDATION WAS PRESENT AT THE “INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF NGO EVALUATORS: GENERATING TRUST”
The Rafa Nadal Foundation has been present at the “International Conference of NGO Evaluators: generating trust” of the Lealtad Foundation held in Madrid on Thursday, March 23.
This conference is an event organized by Fundación Lealtad within the framework of the ICFO presidency, the international association that brings together evaluators from 20 countries in Europe, America, Asia and Africa. On the morning of Thursday, April 23, evaluators from all over the world, NGOs, donors, companies and the media have gathered to learn how to donate effectively.
Under the slogan ‘Generating trust’, the event has valued the role that evaluators play both in strengthening the Third Sector and in promoting the collaboration of society with NGOs. In addition to being a meeting for evaluators from all over the world, it has also generated a moment of learning and sharing of experiences and initiatives in the field of the Third Sector.
Representatives of Fundación Exit, Manos Unidas and Doctors Without Borders Spain participated in this congress, as well as Fundación La Caixa, Fundación Juan Entrecanales de Azcárate and INECO, a leading consultancy in the field of sustainable mobility and digital transformation.
The largest evaluators in the world were present, the American presidents of the BBB Wise Giving Alliance, as well as the directors of Germany, the Netherlands, Mexico and Switzerland.
In the conference, topics such as the importance of the figure of the evaluator, evaluation models in the world, the situation of trust in institutions or the state of the Third Sector worldwide were discussed. Likewise, a debate has been opened, along with entities considered large donors, the criteria in decision-making to select the NGOs with which to collaborate.
The inauguration and closing have been in charge of the two founders of Fundación Lealtad, Salvador García-Atance and Ignacio Garralda, president of Mutua Madrileña.
The Conference was held at the COAM-Colegio de Arquitectos de Madrid (Calle Hortaleza, 63) in person from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
On behalf of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, Fani Ginard, head of strategic alliances, was present with the aim of continuing to weave networks and joining efforts in terms of transparency within the scope of work of third sector institutions.
