Committed to Child Protection and Well-Being: The Rafa Nadal Foundation Engages in Professional Training

In its ongoing commitment to providing a safe and healthy environment for the children it serves, the Rafa Nadal Foundation has taken another step forward in safeguarding children’s rights. To ensure that the highest standards of safety and well-being are met, the Foundation has organized training sessions on the Comprehensive Law for the Protection of Children and Adolescents (LOPIVI) and children’s rights across all its projects.

Iñaki Alonso, from Kunina Consulting, provides training on LOPIVI and Children’s Rights in the projects of the Rafa Nadal Foundation

Iñaki Alonso, a renowned specialist in Children’s Rights, has been entrusted with delivering these training sessions to the technical professionals and executive team of the Rafa Nadal Foundation. With extensive experience in the field of children’s rights, Iñaki Alonso has provided valuable insights into LOPIVI and the necessary procedures to ensure the proper protection and treatment of minors.

LOPIVI, the Organic Law on the Comprehensive Protection of Children and Adolescents, is a legal framework that establishes the rights and protective measures for minors in Spain.

The Rafa Nadal Foundation takes its responsibility to safeguard children very seriously and is dedicated to providing an environment where they can feel safe and well-cared for. These training sessions reflect the Foundation’s commitment to complying with all legal requirements while also ensuring the holistic well-being of all the boys and girls it serves.

The knowledge gained in these training sessions will better equip the technical professionals and executive team of the Rafa Nadal Foundation to address the needs and rights of the minors participating in the Foundation’s projects. This includes identifying and preventing risky situations, promoting respectful and dignified treatment, and ensuring that all children’s rights are upheld in accordance with LOPIVI.

The Rafa Nadal Foundation expresses its gratitude to Iñaki Alonso and Kunina Consulting for sharing his expertise and knowledge, further strengthening the Foundation’s commitment to child protection and well-being.

This marks an important step in the Foundation’s mission to positively transform the lives of children through sports while guaranteeing their safety and protection at all times.
