THE GOVERNANCE BOARD OF THE RAFA NADAL FOUNDATION PARTICIPATES IN TRAINING ON LOPIVI AND CHILDREN’S RIGHTS

Last October, the Rafa Nadal Foundation demonstrated its commitment to the protection and well-being of minors by organizing training sessions on the Organic Law for the Comprehensive Protection of Children and Adolescents (LOPIVI) and children’s rights for professionals from the three Rafa Nadal Foundation Centers and the Play All project.

As part of this ongoing commitment, the Foundation conducted a special training session for the governance body, which included the three trustees, Francisco de Bergia, Juan José Almagro, and Ricardo de Diego, the president Ana María Parera, and the director, María Francisca Perelló.

This session, held on March 21, 2024, was conducted by Iñaki Alonso from Kunina Consulting, an expert in children’s rights who works closely with the foundation.

During the session, Iñaki Alonso provided valuable information on LOPIVI and the necessary procedures to ensure the protection and proper treatment of minors. LOPIVI is a law that establishes the rights and protection measures for minors in Spain and is essential to the work of the Rafa Nadal Foundation in promoting child welfare.

These training sessions reflect the ongoing commitment of the Rafa Nadal Foundation to comply with all legal requirements and to ensure the overall well-being of all the children it serves.

The knowledge gained in these sessions will enable all individuals within the foundation to be better prepared to address the needs and rights of the minors participating in its projects.

The Rafa Nadal Foundation thanks Iñaki Alonso and Kunina Consulting for sharing their experience and knowledge, thereby contributing to strengthening its commitment to the protection and well-being of minors.

This is an important step in the Foundation’s mission to positively transform the lives of children through sports while ensuring their safety and protection at all times.
