The Rafa Nadal Foundation held its first International Gala in Paris last weekend. The charity event was attended by specially-invited guests and supporters from all over the world, led by Rafael Nadal and Ana Maria Parera, President of the Foundation.
Some 400 people were in attendance at the exclusive event which took place at the InterContinental Paris Le Grand Hotel in cooperation with Richard Mille. The aim of the Gala was to raise funds for the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre, the organisation’s first independent project, which offers sporting and educational opportunities to socially disadvantaged children and young people.
The Gala guests enjoyed a signature dinner by internationally renowned Spanish chefs Juan Mari Arzak and Elena Azak and their French colleague Christophe Raoux, who brought together the best of their gastronomic creations to offer a unique and unrepeatable meal. The event was also highlighted by a performance from Spanish tenor Josep Bros and the celebrated Spanish singer Luz Casal.
