Ana María Parera, president of the Rafa Nadal Foundation and María Francisca Perelló, director of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, have been awarded at the 1st Woman Sport Awards for Women in Sports.
Both are responsible, along with the rest of the team, that the foundation has evolved to become a benchmark in the use of sport as a vehicle for personal and social development, taking the values and learning inherent in sports practice to disadvantaged environments and groups at risk of social exclusion.
The gala of the First Woman in Sport Woman Sport Awards was held in Barcelona, in the old Damm factory. An event with a national dimension, broadcast live by the TVE program ‘Teledeporte’, thought, designed, created and conceived to give the visibility that women deserve in the world of sport and in all the fields it encompasses.
