“Euros de tu nómina” is a social call promoted by Banco Santander among its workers, who create a fund to help finance different social projects. It is the employees themselves who present the projects and also who decide, by voting, which are the winners.
Each worker can contribute from one euro of their payroll per month to this fund and the total amount is distributed among the 12 winning projects.
In the 2022 call, 196 projects from 168 social entities have been presented, 2,700 employees have participated and €537,114 have been raised.
The Rafa Nadal Foundation Center has been one of the projects chosen within the category of social inclusion, together with APRAMP (Association for the
Prevention, Reinsertion and Care for Prostituted Women) and Achalay.
In the international cooperation category, the Kirira Foundation, the Recover Foundation and the Vicente Ferrer Foundation have won the award.
The Aprocor Foundation, Autismo Burgos and Apadis have been the winners of the disability category.
Finally, within the health category, the winners were Mamás en Acción, Menudos Corazones and Enriqueta Villavechia Children's Oncology Foundation.
Euros de tu Nómina is a reflection of the enthusiasm and solidarity of Banco Santander employees, who, thanks to their commitment, give opportunities to many organizations to continue supporting groups in vulnerable situations.
Yesterday, June 8, a meeting and breakfast was held in Madrid among all the winning organizations, who shared knowledge, experience and enthusiasm for this recognition granted by the thousands of employees of Banco Santander.
Fani Ginard, Head of Alliances of the Rafa Nadal Foundation, was present at this meeting, representing the entire team.
