On the 22nd of December, the Caja Mágica will host the Rafa Nadal vs Roger Federer charity match, entitled “Joining Forces for the Benefit of Children”, the aim of which is to raise money for the Rafa Nadal Foundation. The day will be full of surprises and the first one we can tell you about is a performance by David Bisbal before the match. The Almería-born singer will threat spectators to a mini concert on the Centre Court at the Caja Mágica, which will become a temporary stage for the event. The concert will start at 6pm, earlier than the previously scheduled time.

Tickets for the match between the world’s top two tennis stars were sold out within six hours, a record that shows the public’s support for both players. But there are still other ways to help the Rafa Nadal Foundation: you can make a donation by buying “Row Zero” tickets, which do not grant access to the stadium but enable you to make a financial contribution to the Foundation, or you can access the event’s website to enter a draw to play with Rafa Nadal.

The match will be broadcast live on TVE’s ‘La 1’ programme, which will be giving it special coverage.

The “Joining Forces for the Benefit of Children” charity match would not be possible without the support of sponsors Madrid City Council, Banesto, MAPFRE, and United Postcode Lotteries. It also has the support of other companies including Façonnable, San Miguel, Kia, Richard Mille, NetJets, Nespresso, Babolat, and the Madrid Tennis Federation.
