ALMA NADAL charity match suspended

Due to medical reasons, Rafa Nadal has been forced to announce that he won’t be able to play in the charity match ALMA NADAL along with Novak Djokovic at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, next July 14

According to Ana Maria Parera, president of the Fundación Rafa Nadal, " We are deeply sorry not to be able to satisfy the thousands who had already purchased a ticket. We wish to thank people for their unconditional support once again, as well as sponsors, who fervently supported this charity event to boost the actrivity of the Realmadrid Foundation and Fundacion Rafa Nadal".

Enrique Sanchez, executive vice president of the Foundation Realmadrid, also regretted the suspension of the event while wished Rafa "and we wish Rafa Nadal a speedy recovery. We wish to express all our affection, support and recognition to him. We are convinced supporters will soon be able to enjoy this historic meeting to continue supporting the charitable projects of both foundations".

Both foundations thank Novak Djokovic for his predisposition and recognise his great human character by accepting to selflessly participate in the event. Both entities hope to announce a new date for the ALMA NADAL soon.
