Rafael Nadal, Founding Patron of Rafa Nadal Foundation, attended on Thursday September 25th the inauguration of the photo exhibition Wild Wonders of Europe, in the Retiro Park in Madrid.

Nadal wanted to personally thank United Postcode Lotteries, main sponsor of the exhibition, the support offered to Rafa Nadal Foundation: With their help, from my Foundation we are supporting the development of children and young people at risk of social exclusion in Spain, and I want to take this opportunity to publicly thank it wholeheartedly. Definitely supporting the future of young people also requires the protection of the environment, which is their habitat and our heritage, so I feel very honoured to participate in this exhibition visit.

Wild Wonders of Europe opens at El Buen Retiro Park in central Madrid and the exhibition remains on display until 15 December 2012 with free entry all day. It shows 100 impressive, life size photos from 48 European countries, revealing the stunning natural treasures of our continent. The Spanish exhibition marks the 5th in this Pan-European Exhibition tour and is the first time it comes to Southern Europe.
