Rafa Nadal Foundation received last 13th December the award that Special Olympics Spain gives annually. The recognition of the program More than Tennis, that since 2010 encourages and promotes the practice of tennis among children and young people with intellectual disabilities, is the first prize that the Foundation received since its birth in 2007.

"Today our dream has become true and supports more than 500 boys and girls. Receiving this award allows us to thank you on their behalf" said Ana Maria Parera, President of Rafa Nadal Foundation.

This award, given for six years, recognizes individuals or institutions that during the year have made an outstanding commitment with the organization. The ceremony took place in the Gabriela Mistral amphitheater of the Casa America in Madrid.
