Last Wednesday, November 23rd Rafa Nadal was awarded by the ATP in recognition of his caritative and humanitarian task since his Foundation was created in 2007.

Adam Helfant, Executive President of the Professional Tennis Association, was the person who awarded Rafa Nadal at the O2 Arena in London, coinciding with the ATP World Tour Finals. Adam Helfant himself claimed that the work carried out by Rafa Nadal Foundation is really important because it helps teenagers who are socially deprived or suffer from any disability and always using sport as a tool for social and personal integration. Rafa Nadal was really happy and satisfied for all the support que receives every day and stated he was proud of being able to help people and offer them the possibility of having a better future.

Before Rafa Nadal, some other professional tennis players such as Arthur Ashe, Carlos Moyŕ or Roger Federer had already received this recognition because of their solidarity task.
