This initiative, developed in collaboration with\u00a0<strong>CMSS Llevant Sud<\/strong>, provided a space for guidance and support to families with children aged 12 and above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"28603\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/FOTO-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28603\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"28609\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/FOTO-3-1024x820.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28609\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Aware of the impact that screen use has on the emotional, social, and academic well-being of adolescents, we opened the center\u2019s doors so that families from both the CFRN and Social Services could participate in&nbsp;<strong>three sessions led by professionals from Projecte Jove<\/strong>, an organization specialized in prevention and support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A space to learn, share, and prevent<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the sessions, families explored key topics to better understand and support their children in the healthy use of technology:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Rules, limits, and consequences<\/strong>\u00a0in the digital environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Emotional well-being and conflict resolution<\/strong>, especially related to screen and social media use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Addiction prevention<\/strong>, both to substances and behaviors associated with mobile devices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshops proved very enriching, and families appreciated having a&nbsp;<strong>safe space<\/strong>&nbsp;to resolve doubts, share experiences, and gain practical tools for everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A consistent educational approach: mobile-free spaces at CFRN<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the opening of our first center ten years ago, the Rafa Nadal Foundation has taken a firm decision:&nbsp;<strong>children do not use their mobile phones inside the center<\/strong>. Upon arrival, they hand them in and collect them when leavingaci\u00f3n Rafa Nadal adoptamos una decisi\u00f3n firme: <strong>los ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as no utilizan el m\u00f3vil dentro del centro<\/strong>. Al entrar, lo entregan y lo recuperan al salir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/IMG_7358_b.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28615\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This measure is part of our educational model and serves several purposes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Encouraging children to\u00a0<strong>focus on activities<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promoting\u00a0<strong>peer interaction and positive coexistence<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrating that it is possible to\u00a0<strong>disconnect and enjoy<\/strong>\u00a0for an hour and a half without screens.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preventing inappropriate use and ensuring a\u00a0<strong>safe and equal space<\/strong>\u00a0for all children.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshops held this month reinforce this approach and allow us to continue&nbsp;<strong>supporting families<\/strong>, building a community more aware of the role technology plays in the well-being of children and adolescents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We will continue promoting initiatives like this, working in collaboration with local organizations and services, and striving to create opportunities that\u00a0<strong>protect, support, and empower<\/strong>\u00a0everyone who is part of our centers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During November, we had the opportunity to host a series of workshops at the\u00a0Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma\u00a0focused on the responsible use of technology and the prevention of behavioral addictions.
