{"id":64840,"date":"2025-12-05T08:26:04","date_gmt":"2025-12-05T08:26:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/fundacionrafanadal.quelinka.es\/?p=64840"},"modified":"2026-01-02T09:13:42","modified_gmt":"2026-01-02T09:13:42","slug":"ten-years-transforming-lives-in-our-centers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/en\/ten-years-transforming-lives-in-our-centers\/","title":{"rendered":"Ten years transforming lives in our Centers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, at the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma, we experienced a very special moment: we celebrated our\u00a0<strong>10th anniversary<\/strong>\u00a0with a community day that brought together institutions, social organizations, schools, families, and, of course, the main protagonists of our work: the children of Nou Llevant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Los Centros Fundaci\u00f3n Rafa Nadal cumplen 10 a\u00f1os\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GT3YpSXKOzo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since our opening in 2015, our purpose has been clear: to offer every child a space where they can grow, learn, and dream, combining education, sport, and psychosocial support. Today, more than\u00a0<strong>1,000 children<\/strong>\u00a0participate in the sports activities we organized to celebrate this decade of commitment, and the festive atmosphere that filled the center and its surroundings reminded us why we do what we do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"28569\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/CFRN_10anos0007-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28569\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"28572\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/CFRN_10anos0005.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28572\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"28566\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/CFRN_10anos0006-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28566\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the event, our director,&nbsp;<strong>Mar\u00eda Francisca Perell\u00f3<\/strong>, delivered an emotional speech recalling the beginnings of the center and highlighting the strength of working together: \u201cTen years later, seeing the change in so many lives and the commitment of all professionals and organizations fills us with pride and motivates us to keep moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the round table, moderated by \u00cd\u00f1igo Mart\u00ednez de San Vicente, the director of the center, Tom\u00e1s Rodrigo, psychologist at the Llevant Sud Municipal Social Services Center, Alba Alfonso, Community Service teacher at CEIPIESO Pintor Joan Mir\u00f3, and Cati Miralles, psychologist at the Mallorca Integra Foundation, also took part to share their experiences and reflections on their joint work with the Foundation and its impact on the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As&nbsp;<strong>Eunate G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, head of projects at the Foundation, emphasized, the strength of our model lies in the coordination between our areas of work \u2014 educational, sports, and psychosocial \u2014 and in the dedication of the professional teams at our centers in Palma, Valencia, and Madrid.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"28557\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/CFRN_10anos0002.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28557\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"28560\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/CFRN_10anos0003.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28560\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"28554\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/CFRN_10anos0001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-28554\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to these reflections, we enjoyed a&nbsp;<strong>celebration open to the entire community<\/strong>, with workshops, outdoor sports activities, and food trucks, allowing us to share this joy with the families and children who have been part of our journey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>A decade transforming lives<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since 2015, more than&nbsp;<strong>3,700 children and families<\/strong>&nbsp;have benefited from our centers in Palma, Valencia and Madrid, experiencing personal and social growth that fills us with pride.
