During the session, they not only moved, laughed, and had fun, but also learned valuable lessons about empathy, cooperation, and respect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>It is a cooperative game in which the goal goes far beyond winning: it\u2019s about understanding others and learning to work together.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dynamics of the game were simple but deeply meaningful: we blindfolded some participants, who had to navigate the court guided only by verbal instructions from their peers, in order to find balls and carry them from one side to the other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"25153\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5352-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25153\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"25147\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5271-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25147\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"25150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5351-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25150\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"25144\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5264-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25144\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal wasn\u2019t to compete, but to collaborate. In this way, the children had the opportunity to step into the shoes of someone with a visual impairment, experiencing the challenges this can involve and understanding the importance of mutual help and sensitivity to others\u2019 needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This kind of game allows us to work on fundamental aspects such as cooperation, teamwork, empathy, and especially respect for people with disabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Putting yourself in someone else\u2019s place helps to understand different realities and build a more inclusive and compassionate perspective.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centers in Palma, Valencia, and Madrid, we are committed to a holistic approach to children\u2019s development, combining educational and sports activities with programs that strengthen their social and emotional skills.<br>Because we believe that education goes beyond teaching, and growing up also means learning to live together, to care for others, and to value them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"25141\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5251-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25141\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"25138\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5241-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25138\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-id=\"25135\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fundacionrafanadal.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5203-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25135\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We continue to work every day to offer them spaces where they can learn, play, dream, and become the best version of themselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">We firmly believe that through play, we also educate, build community, and plant the seeds of lifelong values.<\/h2>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At the Rafa Nadal Foundation, we Know that play is a powerful educational tool.
