volunteers who joined the project during

the school year. The material created by

the ITF was also an important source of

content for preparing for the sessions.

EVALUATION AND RESULTS

The main achievements included enhancing

the future opportunities and quality of

life of 170 boys and girls from the area of

Anantapur, ensuring that the School and

Tennis Training Centre functioned properly,

improving the facilities and renewing the

scholastic and sports material.

The project grew significantly over the

course of the year, due mainly to the support

of volunteers to train the staff and to the

deep involvement of the coaches and the

programme coordinator.

“The project is

very helpful in the

area where we

live, in all aspects.

The boys and girls

are enjoying their

childhood.”

Sudakar, English teacher

“This project helps the participating boys

and girls to enhance their education,

improve their English and learn about

IT while playing tennis. They have the

chance to get to know and live with other

boys and girls and expand their circle

of friends. In other words, the project

ensures comprehensive development in

all aspects.”
