Rafa Nadal Tour by Mapfre
The third edition of this tennis tour for
young people was held throughout 2016,
with tournaments in Barcelona, Seville,
Valldoreix (Barcelona), Valencia, Alicante,
Madrid and Mallorca. For the first time, the
Beginner’s and Junior’s championships of
Spain were included, which also scored for
ranking in the tour.
The sports competition was complemented

The fourth edition of the golf tournament
Olazábal & Nadal Invitational by Pula Golf
Resort was held in November 2016, an
annual event created by Rafael Nadal and
the golf player José María Olazábal in order
to raise funds to help groups in the greatest
need. This time, the proceeds went to the
Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre and to the
Sport Mundi Foundation.

total of 2,500 people registered, the profits
gained by holding the tour went to fund the
