Every February 20, we celebrate the World Day of Social Justice, a date proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly to remind us that equal opportunities, inclusion, and access to fundamental rights are essential pillars for building a more just society.
In 2026, the theme is “Empowering Inclusion: Bridging Gaps for Social Justice,” a clear call to work toward a world where everyone — regardless of their origin, economic situation, or social context — can reach their full potential.
Inclusion as a Driver of Change
Speaking about social justice means speaking about education, access to sport, emotional support, and real opportunities for growth. It means recognizing that gaps still exist that limit the development of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, and that closing them requires commitment, collaboration, and sustained action.
Inclusion is not just a goal; it is a powerful tool to transform lives. When a safe environment, adequate resources, and proper guidance are provided, talent and hope find the space they need to flourish.

Our Commitment
At the Fundación Rafa Nadal, we firmly believe that sport and education are essential pathways to promoting equal opportunities. Every program, every activity, and every space we create aims to provide children and young people with the tools they need for their personal, academic, and social development.
This World Day of Social Justice invites us not only to reflect, but also to act. To strengthen our commitment to inclusion, to listen to those who need support the most, and to continue working so that no child is left behind.
Let’s Build a More Just Society Together
Social justice is a collective task. Public institutions, social organizations, companies, and citizens all share the responsibility of creating more equitable and supportive environments.
Today, we renew our commitment to continue creating opportunities and promoting inclusion as the foundation for a better future.
Because when we close gaps, we open pathways.
