The Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre takes part in the IX Palmadona Race

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, on Sunday, March 8, the IX Palmadona Race took place in Palma, a sporting event that each year brings together hundreds of people to share a day of sport, community and celebration around 8M.

As has become a tradition, the team of professionals from the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre in Palma took part in the event accompanied by a group of boys and girls from the centre, as well as some of their family members.

All of them enjoyed a very special morning at the Sa Riera park, where different activities were organized for all participants.

The day began with a lively group warm-up with music, which helped set the tone before the race and allowed both children and adults to start the day with energy and good spirits.

Afterwards came the most anticipated moment: taking part together in the popular race, completing the route in a festive atmosphere full of camaraderie.

Beyond the sporting aspect, initiatives like this represent a great opportunity to continue promoting key values among children and their families. At the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre, we work every day to promote a healthy lifestyle, where sport becomes part of everyday life and contributes to physical, emotional and social well-being.

Participating in events such as the Carrera de la Dona allows participants to experience sport as a shared activity, strengthen healthy habits and understand physical activity as a fundamental tool to grow and develop into healthy adults.

Without a doubt, it was a morning full of sport, joy and togetherness that everyone will remember with a smile.
