Every March 20, the International Day of Happiness is celebrated—a date that invites us to reflect on what makes us feel good, improves our quality of life, and helps us build healthier and more positive societies.
At the Rafa Nadal Foundation, we want to celebrate this day by highlighting the role of sport and physical activity as a source of happiness.

Beyond the physical benefits, movement, play, and sport generate positive emotions, strengthen self-esteem, and promote values such as respect, teamwork, and personal growth.
Practicing sport also means sharing quality time, building connections, and enjoying leisure in a healthy way. For children and young people, these moments become opportunities to learn, grow, and develop skills that will accompany them throughout their lives.
That is why, through our Rafa Nadal Foundation Centres, we work every day to offer safe, inclusive, and educational spaces where children can enjoy high-quality sports and educational activities. Places where sport becomes a tool to promote well-being, equal opportunities, and, of course, happiness.

On this International Day of Happiness, we want to remember that happiness can also be trained: on a court, on a field, or in a game shared with friends and teammates. Because when sport is experienced in a positive and safe environment, it becomes much more than physical activity—it becomes joy, confidence, and future.
