The Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Valencia takes part in the 7th Nazaret Sports Week, bringing pickleball to more than 500 schoolchildren

The Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Valencia participated in the 7th Nazaret Sports Week by offering pickleball sessions to different schools in the neighborhood during the activities held at the Nazaret Sports Center.

The initiative, organized by the Nazaret Neighborhood Sports Committee together with sports organizations, educational centers, and neighborhood associations, aims to bring sport closer to all the boys and girls in the area, promoting sports practice as a tool for inclusion, coexistence, and personal development.

During this edition, around 500 students from four educational centers had the opportunity to practice different sports free of charge, including handball, flag football, American football, tennis, basketball, mini-basketball, archery, badminton, alternative games, and water activities.

As a new feature this year, pickleball was added to the program of activities thanks to the Rafa Nadal Foundation, allowing many children to discover this sport for the first time.

Participation in this initiative also represents an opportunity for more young people and families in the neighborhood to learn about the educational and social work carried out by the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Valencia.

The week concludes with the traditional Charity Football Tournament organized by CD Atlético Nazaret, in collaboration with various sports and social organizations linked to Valencia’s maritime district.

From the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center Valencia, we would like to thank all the organizations, educational centers, and participants for their involvement in an initiative that continues to demonstrate the power of sport to create a positive impact on children and the community.
