This summer, the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centres in Palma, Valencia and Madrid will once again open their doors to welcome children in an environment of learning, community and healthy leisure. The Summer Schools will run from 29 July to 7 August 2026, offering families a safe and educational alternative during the school holiday period.
In the Palma and Madrid centres, the programmes will be organised into three two-week sessions, while in Valencia there will be two three-week sessions each, adapting the schedule to the needs of each territory and families.

A real support for work–life balance
Summer represents a significant challenge for many families in terms of work–life balance. With these Summer Schools, the Fundación Rafa Nadal reinforces its commitment to providing solutions that support parents and caregivers during this period, helping to organise daily life while children enjoy a safe and enriching environment.

Meaningful free time: sport, education and psychosocial support
The Summer Schools are designed so that children make the most of their free time in an active and healthy way, combining:
- Age-appropriate sports activities
- Educational and competency-based learning activities
- Psychosocial support and emotional development spaces
- Games and community-building activities
- Special excursions
In this way, the aim is to reduce excessive screen time and promote active lifestyles, positive social relationships and the overall development of children.
Safe spaces during the summer
The Rafa Nadal Foundation Centres are prepared to provide a well-maintained environment adapted to high temperatures, acting as climate shelters for indoor activities, with air-conditioned spaces ensuring the wellbeing of children and adolescents during the hottest hours of the day.
In addition, the programme includes outdoor activities such as trips to beaches, swimming pools and climate-controlled cultural centres, always with special attention to safety, hydration and protection from heat.

One shared goal across three cities
Although each centre will adapt its programming in detail, the common approach of the Summer Schools is clear: to create safe spaces for educational leisure during school holidays that contribute to the holistic development of children and adolescents.

The purpose is shared: to offer meaningful experiences that combine fun, learning and emotional support.
