Last Sunday, May 19, the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center had the honor of participating in the VII Cursa PalmaDona, a sporting event organized by the Ajuntament de Palma de Mallorca in tribute to women and their significant presence in sports.
This event, held in the Riera Park, featured both the popular race and the children’s race, providing a day full of physical activity, fun, and camaraderie.
At the Rafa Nadal Foundation Center in Palma, we registered 30 children and adolescents to participate in the race.
Many of them are members of our Athletics Club, a healthy leisure group that trains every Friday at the center and promotes physical activity and unity among its members.
The race was an excellent opportunity for our young athletes to share this experience not only among themselves but also with their families and friends.
Several family members of the children attended the race, allowing them to share quality moments together. Additionally, groups of friends from the center decided to attend together, enjoying a different and activity-filled morning.
The event was managed by the center’s team of professionals, whose main objective was to strengthen the bond and trust between them and the children. The day was very enjoyable for everyone, as they not only engaged in sports but also established new relationships among the participants and lived unforgettable moments.
