All Rafa Nadal Foundation Centres are now heart-safe spaces

The installation of defibrillators and specialised staff training enhance the safety of participants during summer activities and throughout the academic year.

The Rafa Nadal Foundation has completed the installation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) in all its Rafa Nadal Foundation Centres (RNFCs), further strengthening its commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, adolescents and staff members.

This initiative is complemented by a specialised training programme for teams across the different centres, aimed at ensuring a rapid and effective response in the event of an emergency.

Under the title “Basic Life Support, Use of Defibrillators in Non-Healthcare Settings and First Aid”, training sessions will take place on 17 June at RNFC Valencia and on 24 June at RNFC Madrid, each lasting six hours.

RNFC Palma, meanwhile, has had an AED installed since the previous academic year. In February, an additional eight-hour training session was held to refresh knowledge and support the integration of new team members.

Thanks to these initiatives, all Rafa Nadal Foundation Centres have become heart-safe spaces, with professionals trained to respond appropriately in emergency situations, both during summer activities and throughout the regular academic year.

The implementation of this medical equipment has been made possible thanks to the support of ROJOMED, whose collaboration has helped strengthen prevention measures and immediate response capabilities across all centres.
