The Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre in Palma took part this morning in the Fira d’Entitats of the Nou Llevant and La Soledat neighbourhoods, a community event aimed at bringing local residents closer to the resources, services and activities available in their area.

During the event, held at Parc Krekovic, the Centre’s team led a recreational space based on traditional games from different continents, an initiative designed to promote key values such as multiculturalism, diversity and inclusion among participants.
Under the concept of “travelling through play”, children and families were able to discover traditional dynamics from different parts of the world. Among them were activities such as “Chinese ball”, focused on coordination and teamwork; “Mamba”, an African game that promotes movement, cooperation and group strategy; and “Memory”, a memory game originating from the Czech Republic that encourages teamwork.

These initiatives not only created a fun and participatory environment, but also served as an educational tool to highlight the cultural richness of different countries, reinforcing respect and coexistence among people from diverse backgrounds.
Participation in this fair reflects the Rafa Nadal Foundation Centre in Palma’s commitment to its local community, actively contributing to neighbourhood life and strengthening ties with other social, educational and community organisations.
